Security Tracking of Office Property (S.T.O.P.) - Theft Deterrent and Recovery Program for Laptop Computers

A theft deterrent and recovery program for laptop computers, equipment and other small valuable property. A visible security plate and warning label are applied to the property and would-be thieves are warned that the property will be difficult to tamper with or re-sell. The unique serial number associated with the security plate is linked to the owner's identifying information and increases the chances of the property being returned if it is lost/stolen and recovered. The plates and warning labels are available to CSUN students, faculty and staff as well as community members for $10 per item.
