CSUN Gave Valley College President Erika Endrijonas a New Direction

For her accomplishments as a college president and as a champion of gender equality, Erika Endrijonas was honored earlier this year as Los Angeles City Council District 2’s “2017 Pioneer Woman of the Year.”

CSUN alumna Emily Iland is the president of the Autism Society of Los Angeles.

Inspired and driven by her son’s autism, Emily Iland graduated from CSUN’s master’s program in special education and became president of the Autism Society of Los Angeles.

CSUN’s Department of Geography, one of the largest such programs in the nation, is collaborating with CSUN’s Institute for Sustainability this year to implement a new drone program, which is expected to help develop strategies to make the campus more sustainable.
