A Powerful Voice Returns to CSUN: Michelle DeYoung

Three-time Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano and CSUN alumna Michelle DeYoung, a world-renowned opera singer who has graced the stages of some of the best-known opera houses in the world, returns to her alma mater with a special performance at the Valley Performing Arts Center on Nov. 12.

Not long after graduation from CSUN, Andrew Strauser struck gold in the entertainment industry. He worked his way up the proverbial Hollywood ladder to become vice president of talent development and casting for TLC, bringing personalities such as Cake Boss Buddy Valastro to the masses.

Grand Opening of the Family Justice Center, Oct. 15

Congressman Tony Cardenas and Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer will join officials from CSUN’s Strength United, the Los Angeles Police Department and Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Center for Assault Treatment Services on Thursday, Oct. 15, as they celebrate the grand opening of the Family Justice Center, the first of its kind in Los Angeles County.

CSUN Brings Fall to Families With Calabasas Pumpkin Festival Collaboration

As the leaves turn brown, CSUN recreation management students are working hard to create a colorful event for families attending this year’s Calabasas Pumpkin Festival.
