10 Meal Flex 600 Plan Includes...

General Information-
  • 10 meals per week at Geronimo’s to be used between Saturday and Friday
  • The 10 meal swipes do not roll over each week, cannot be accumulated or saved and cannot be used to feed guests
  • If you use your 10 meal swipes before the week is over, you may use your Dining Dollars at Geronimo’s and receive the reduced rate of $6.00 per meal (Note: Without the Dining Dollars or Meal Card, meals at Geronimo’s will be retail price)
  • 600 Dining Dollars per year (300 per semester) to spend at all campus food units (except Subway)
  • Dining Dollars have no daily limit, can be used anytime during operating hours and can be used to feed guests at retail price
  • If you run out of Dining Dollars, you are may purchase more from the Meal Plan Office
Payment Information-
  • There are two payment options for this plan:
    • 1st - Pay $2,995.00 in full when you submit the application
      • This payment and charge will not appear on the student’s portal and financial aid cannot be used
    • 2nd - Pay 8 installments of $387.00 (8th payment of $386.00) over the course of the academic year
      • Total cost using the monthly installment method is $3,095.00 (first payment will not appear on the student’s portal account but the remaining seven will)
      • Monthly payments do not add any additional Dining Dollars to your card, as the allotment for the semester is on your card when you receive it
      • **Financial Aid cannot be used to pay the first payment. The first payment holds your meal plan
  • The Meal Plan Office accepts cash, checks, money orders Visa and MasterCard
  • For the 1st payment you submit with the applicaiton, make all checks and money orders out to “The University Corporation”
  • If you are going to pay in installments and use a credit card, do not assume that we will automatically charge your card every time a payment is due. It is your responisibility to make each payment by the due date
  • Please send the remaining payments that are posted to your account to University Cash Services. All checks and money orders need to be made out to "CSUN or California State University, Northridge". Do not send Meal Plan payments to Housing or the Meal Plan Office!
  • By signing the Meal Plan Contract, you have agreed to participate in the meal plan program for the entire academic year (fall and spring semesters) and are financially liable for the entire year unless you withdraw from CSUN or move off campus
  • The only way to cancel the meal plan is by submitting the Meal Plan Cancellation form (which can be found on the website) to The Meal Plan Office


12 Meal Flex 400 Plan Includes

  • 14 meals per week at the campus dining hall, Geronimo’s, to be used between Saturday and Friday

(Students who are in a non-kitchen housing unit are not eligible for this plan)

  • The 7 meal swipes do not roll over each week, cannot be accumulated or saved and cannot be used to feed guests
  • If you use your 7 meal swipes before the week is over, you may use your Dining Dollars at Geronimo’s and receive the reduced rate of $6.00 per meal (Note: Without the Dining Dollars or Meal Card, meals at Geronimo’s will be retail price)
  • 600 Dining Dollars per year (300 per semester) to spend at all campus food units (except Subway)

Block 25 Meal Plan Includes...

(Available for Resident Advisors in Housing Units with a kitchen, as well as CSUN Housing Employees)

General Information-
  • 25 meals at Geronimo’s to be used between Saturday and Friday
  • There is no weekly minimum or maximum for the number of meals you can purchase
  • The is not a limit for the number of Block 25 plans you are able to purchase throughout the academic year
Payment Information-
  • Pay $200 in full when you submit the application
    • This payment and charge will not appear on the student’s portal and financial aid cannot be used
  • The Meal Plan Office accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa, and MasterCard
  • Please make all checks and money orders out to “The University Corporation
  • Please send Meal Plan payments to The Meal Plan Office. Do not send Meal Plan payments to Housing!
  • By signing the Meal Plan Contract, you have agreed to participate in the meal plan program for the entire academic year (fall and spring semesters) and are financially liable for the entire year unless you withdraw from CSUN or move off campus

Dining Hall Etiquette

  • Respect the rights of those around you. Loud or abusive language will not be tolerated.
  • Please wait your turn in line.
  • Please refrain from horseplay or running while inside the Dining Hall.
  • Eat all you wish while in Geronimo’s, but food, beverages, fruit, desserts, etc. are not to be taken from the dining hall.
  • Please don’t be wasteful. Take only what you can eat at the first sitting. You can always go back for more.
  • Return all dishes, cups and utensils to the dish return room at the end of your meal. All paper refuse should be placed in the appropriate trash receptacles. Since the dining hall utilizes a self-busing system, it’s important that you clean your table before you leave.
  • Return all condiments to the caddies once you are finished using them.
  • Should you or others accidentally spill or drop food or beverages, please report it to management immediately so that hazards can be avoided.
  • Do not play with the food of the ice.
  • Respect the employees and their hard work. There was a lot of thought, time, work, energy and money put into the renovation of our dining facilities.
