Lillian Lehman is a Professor of Theatre, teaching acting, Improvisation, and Acting for the Camera (a class she created). She has also successfully directed several mainstage productions at CSUN. As a veteran actress for 35 years of stage, film, and television, she has many film credits such as Defending Your Life with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep and the recent Evan Almighty. A few of her TV credits include Magnum P.I. (Emmy consideration), General Hospital ("Dr. Meadows", 16 years), E.R., Cold Case, and most recently a recurring role as Judge Tiano on the new TNT hit series, The Closer. She's filmed hundreds of on-camera and voice-over commericals. Her numerous voice-over credits include narration for the nationally acclaimed four-part series Intimate Strangers for PBS. Professor Lehman has served as co-chair of the National Women's Committee for AFTRA/SAG as well as a member of the Affirmative Action Committee and a National Board Committee. She has been a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for 27 years and served on the Executive Peer Committee for the Television Academy and the By-Laws committee. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA, and Actors Equity Association.
