• for the video, you can upload your own video, but it would be easier to upload a YouTube video. In order to do this, you will need to be on your Media page in the edit mode.
• Note: sometimes, if you put a YouTube of a popular video such as professional music video or movie trailer, the company will somehow block it on your site. So, to be safe, it might be a good idea to pick something not too popular.

• You will select Insert > Video > YouTube

• From here, you will copy and paste a YouTube web address and place it on the address bar.
• Select Save and you can view your video once you are in the preview mode. (fyi, later in the semester, you will create an Imovie assignment and if desired, you can upload it to YouTube)

 

Gadgets

In this section, you will add 3 gadgets to your web site. In order to accomplish this, you will once again be in your google site account and on the media page. You will also need to be in the edit mode. Once you are in the edit mode, you will select Insert > More Gadgets. Once you do this, another window will appear with a number of choices. You will need to pick three to be placed on your page.
