Zeynep Toker works with local communities on urban design studies and initiatives to make them more walkable, more attractive and more sustainable. She has carried out projects in Arleta, Aliso Canyon Park and in Pacoima with Pacoima Beautiful. She has also conducted student research initiatives on campus to investigate bicycle use and routing and the design of green spaces.
