Installment Payment Plan (IPP)

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made to increase or modify any listed fees without notice until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.

Please see below to determine if you are eligible to use an IPP. To obtain more information, contact University Cash Services at (818) 677-8000, option 3. An IPP is not activated until the initial payment has been made and the contract has been signed in person at UCS.

Please do not wait until the due date to apply for IPP!

Spring 2015

WHEN REGISTERING FOR CLASSES BETWEEN: November 3, 2014 – November 30, 2014

1st Installment
1/3 of the eligible fee, plus a $40.00 administrative fee.Due by 4:30 pm on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014.
2nd Installment 
1/3 of the eligible fee.Due by 11:59 pm on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015.
Final Installment 
1/3 of the eligible fee.Due by 11:59 pm on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015*.

1/2 of the eligible fee.Due by 11:59 pm on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014*.

WHEN REGISTERING FOR CLASSES BETWEEN: August 18, 2013 – September 12, 2013
IPP IS NOT AVAILABLE.

 
*If you fail to make your required installment payment in full by the date and times, you will be disenrolled from some or all of your classes. Any payments made after the deadline will not prevent disenrollment.

DISENROLLMENT means that:

  • Your registration in some or all classes will be canceled.
  • There is no guarantee that you will be able to re-enroll in the same classes.

Note: The first installment payment, including a $40.00 non-refundable administrative fee, must be made and the contract must be signed in person at University Cash Services, located in the lobby of Bayramian Hall. Subsequent installment payments can be made via your myNorthridge portal account.

Who is eligible for an IPP:

  • Residents of California (undergraduate, graduate, teaching credential and doctorate students) may pay all registration fees through an installment plan.
  • Nonresident and international students may use IPP ONLY for the nonresident portion of their registration fees. All other fees must be paid no later than the Fee Payment Schedule due date.

Who is NOT eligible for an IPP:

  • Students who defaulted on their IPP in the previous semester.
  • Students who have Anticipated Aid displayed on their account.
  • Students who registered only through The Tseng College of Extended Learning.
  • Sponsored students and students with fee waivers.

Fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees. Any increase in fees will be published as soon as they are approved and will be posted to your account.
