How to use access keys

Influenza ("Flu")

Seasonal Flu
The seasonal flu vaccine is still available. Call (818) 677-3666 for information.
H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu)
The H1N1 vaccine is available at the Klotz Student Health Center. Based on new CDC guidelines, the H1N1 flu vaccine is now available at no charge to all CSUN students, faculty and staff. Call (818) 677-3666 to schedule an appointment.
Please note: The vaccine is also available through LA County.

Bliman Vascular Age Calculator
Use the Bliman Vascular Age Calculator to learn your cardiovascular age and the prevalence of cardiovascular disease in the United States.
The BVA Calculator is a risk assessment tool that combines fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, high-density lipoproteins, pulse pressure, and tobacco's vascular toll to give a composite index of cardiometabolic age and disease.

Insurance
Students are strongly encouraged to have a health insurance policy to cover major medical expenses. Learn more about optional health insurance coverage.
After-Hours Care
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 for immediate assistance. When the SHC is closed, our telephone triage service can answer medical questions or can direct you to open healthcare resources.
