Help in Preparing Students to Transfer:

ASSIST (aka Articulation System Stimulating Inter-institutional Student Transfer) is a site designed to show how course credits earned at one California college or university can be applied when transferred to another. It also has information about how to choose and prepare for an undergraduate major.

CollegeSource is an online hyperlinked resource that provides access to over 8.300 college catalogs representing 2-year, 4-year, graduate and professional schools. You will be able easily find important college details, i.e. course descriptions, academic program and policies, admissions requirements and more.

Departmental Programs Supporting Transfer Student Transition and Success

Provides assistance and support services to CalWORKS/GAIN students who are referred to CSU, Northridge by their respective transfer institution or by DPSS (Department of Public Social Services) GAIN Office, by providing necessary services and referrals aimed at easing their access, matriculation, and retention here at the University.

The Peer Mentor Program, our Transfer Network Connection (TNC) team at CSUN wants to make your start at the university a great one with continued academic and social success during your pursuit of a degree in your chosen field of endeavor. As Peer mentors, we wish to provide information and guidance for making your decision to transfer and making the transition.

The CSUN student-run Transfer Student Association has been established with the goal of creating a positive campus experience for incoming and current transfer students here at the University. Our main objective is foster academic, social, and career success through programs and services that aid in the transfer student's integration with the CSUN campus community. As a student advocacy group, the TSA will advocate for the needs and interests of the transfer student to the university at large.

Tau Sigma is a national academic honor society designed specifically to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students transferring to an institution of higher learning from another academic institution.
