Student Voice Palm Pilot Check-Out / Check-In Procedure

The Student Voice Palm Pilots managed by Student Affairs IT are available on a "library-style" first-come, first-served basis. These instructions assume that you have already prepared a survey with Student Voice.

  1. Contact the Student Affairs Information Technology department (SAIT) at extension 6207 to reserve the Palm Pilots for your event. We need to know:
    • Number of Palm Pilots you need.
    • Length of time you need them for.
    • The specific survey you need downloaded to the Palm Pilots.
    • Where we can reach you (extension and / or e-mail address).

  2. SAIT will prepare the Palm Pilots for your survey.
    • Guaranteed turnaround time is one business day.
    • We'll contact you when the Palm Pilots are ready.
      • You can pick them up at the VPSA office (UN310), or...
      • We can deliver them directly to you.
  3. After your event, promptly return the Palm Pilots to SAIT.
    • Drop-off Palm Pilots at the VPSA suite (UN310).
    • We'll upload your assessment data to the Student Voice website.
