Professional Trainer Drenches Students

Professional trainer and former pro basketball player Michael Blanks will bring his unique personal training class, Drenched Cardio, to the Student Recreation Center (SRC) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Students will get a taste of his Body Theory gym class as part of the SRC’s new Master Class event, a five-part series of classes planned for the 2012-2013 school year. Each Master Class will introduce students to a new type of workout and offer the opportunity to exercise with high profile trainers. Read more

The Avengers” will show at the Dive-In Movies, a new monthly event that will feature a pre-released movie and offer a laidback atmosphere, food and pool games for students to enjoy for free. The movies will vary among genres of action, adventure and comedy. Read more

Calling All Swimmers To Get In Shape

The Student Recreation Center (SRC) will begin aquatics programs that feature swim lessons for beginner to intermediate levels; as well as classes such as Adult Stroke Technique, Aqua Aerobics, and Aqua Bootcamp. All classes will be taught by experienced instructors. Read more
