Personal Training

The Student Recreation Center of the University Student Union is excited to offer SRC Members one-on-one personal training sessions with professional trainers who are committed to making sure you get the best out of every workout. With the help of a Personal Trainer in-person at the SRC, you’ll have a program that is unique to you and your personal fitness goals.

If you are interested in receiving some personalized guidance on your fitness journey, head over to the SRC Portal and log in using your CSUN credentials or stop by the SRC front desk to check out the personal training packages that are now available. For additional questions, please contact our Fitness Training Supervisor, David Jimenez.

Personal Training

SRC staff are ready to perform a range of fitness assessments to determine your body mass index, heart rate, blood pressure, and aerobic fitness level. In addition, wellness information is offered to help you stay healthy while performing to the best of your abilities.

Each one-on-one appointment is conducted by a personal trainer and is personalized to incorporate your specific goals, interests and needs.

Private Instruction

CPR, AED and First Aid

CPR

The SRC offers CPR, AED and First Aid classes throughout the semester for the CSUN community. The goal of these classes is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
