“Summer 2016 Children’s Swim Lessons” Coming to Teach Skills to SRC Member’s Little Swimmers

What:
The Student Recreation Center is back with the summer edition of its “Children’s Swim Lessons” and all SRC members are invited to enroll their children or  grandchildren. All lessons are taught utilizing the American Red Cross   guidelines and teaching techniques. Young swimmers of any skill level are  welcome to attend.

Who:
Ryan Hairapetian, Aquatics Coordinator, is responsible for coordinating this event.

When: 
Each session offers lessons every Saturday. Registration for all begins May 16 and ends the last day of each session:
Session 1 runs from Jun. 11 to Jul. 9
Session 2 runs from Jul. 16 to Aug. 13
Session 3 runs from Aug. 20 to Sep. 17

Classes offered:
9:30 to 9:55 a.m. – Levels 1, 2 and 3
10 to 10:25 a.m. – Tiny tot, Parent & Me and Level 1
10:45 to 11:10 a.m. – Tiny tot, level 1 and 2
11:15 to 11:40 a.m. – Parent & Me, Level 2 and 3

SRC Rec Pool

Why:
Provide all SRC members with affordable and convenient swimming lessons for their kids and grandkids that offer an excellent learning experience. 

Background:

SRC members can enroll their children this summer to take these extremely beneficial classes for only $21 per child. Registration for the classes and more information is available at the SRC front desk or online at www.csun.edu/src/aquatics.
