Employment Application Process
for CSUN Staff Positions
Now Online!
Effective Monday, August 11, 2008, employment applications for staff positions at CSUN are online! Current CSUN employees can view job openings and apply for positions online by visiting the myNorthridge portal staff homepage. From the Human Resources/Employee pagelet, choose the link labeled View Job Openings/Apply.
External job seekers can view CSUN staff job openings by visiting the CSUN Employment Opportunities page at
http://www-admn.csun.edu/ohrs/employment.
We are moving the entire campus to full online job recruitment, including creating job openings, application screening and approval process. More information about the campus-wide roll-out will be provided as the project progresses.
Absence Management Changes
Absence Management is undergoing a transformation! Absence requests and payable time entries are currently being made on two different SOLAR HR screens, but will in the near future be combined on one entry page. This enhancement will allow users to easily enter a specific number of hours on a given day for any type of reporting. More information will be available as we approach the Fall semester.
