Docs & Talks for November

Film: “Bomb It”

“Graffiti isn't simple vandalism; it's an artistic expression employed around the world. Filmmaker Jon Reiss travels five continents to reveal graffiti's history, cultural impact and social relevance. Noted artists share their stories, bringing this vital form of expression out of the shadows. It's on freeway overpasses, buildings and billboards. Now, see the real meaning of the world's graffiti” (https://docuwiki.net/index.php?title=Bomb_it).

Docs and Talks: What is it?

Docs & Talks was designed to be a fun, interactive way to bring awareness to important social issues affecting social workers todays. Meeting one night a month, Docs & Talks includes a screening of a documentary chosen by students and faculty, followed bu discussion and debate. As a way to make a difference for those we work with, Docs and Talks will also offer opportunities to take part in a small advocacy piece related to the issue featured. Not only will Docs & Talks be a valuable learning experience, but also a great way to strengthen the bond between students. All MSW students and faculty are welcome.
