This year, the Political Science Department will be co-sponsoring GRILL – Gender, Race, Identity, and the Law in Our Lives – a series of events on recent Supreme Court cases related to gender, race, and identity issues. The first two of these events will be held at the dates/times below. We’ll have more information soon but please mark your calendar and join us for these interesting discussions:

October 15 – 5PM – GRILL – The Voting Rights Act and Shelby County v. Holder

November 20 – 4PM – GRILL – Marriage Equality and the Hollingsworth v. Perry and U.S. v. Windsor cases
