Distinguished Speaker Series 2014: Presentation and Discussion with Activist/Artist/Visionary THIAT

Friday, March 7, 2014 - 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Location:
USU, Grand Salon
Cost:
Free

This speaker is highly sought after worldwide...he has appeared on TV with the new Senegalese president, informing him what the youth require of his administration. This forced the president to speak to the concerns of the youth, since they are the majority in Senegal. It was historic! Thiat's sacrifices have been an inspiration to many and we are excited to have the honor of hosting him here at CSUN. The presentation will be followed by a film screening of Boy Saloum: The Rebellion of Y’ena Marre, by Audrey Gallet.

Please see the attached flyer, and please forward it to anyone who might be interested. We hope to see you there!
