Graduate Student Positions Available:
Student Assistants for Student Success/ Transfer Bridge
The Department of Anthropology is looking to hire two (2) graduate student assistants to help with the Student Success/ Transfer Bridge program for20 – 30 hours/ semester @ $12.00 / hr. Duties include:
- Develop and administer short presentations on study skills and professional skills to undergraduate students
- Participate in undergraduate and transfer outreach events
- Visit community colleges to provide information about and promote CSUN’s Anthropology major
- Work with EOP and advisors to coordinate group welcome and advisement sessions in June
Interested applicants should have outstanding reading, writing, study, and communication skills, be able to work independently, enjoy presenting information to a friendly audience, work effectively with a diverse student population, and maintain clear ties of communication with faculty supervisors. Familiarity with CSUN undergraduate and transfer experience a plus.
