Eli Bartle

Dr. Eli Bartle is a professor in the new CSUN Department of Social Work. He has a PhD in Social Work from the University of Kansas. He moved to Los Angeles in 1997 after completing a post-doc at the University of Illinois in 1997. He was hired to work in the CSUN Sociology Department. He has been active in LGBT communities since 1984. His research interests include hate crimes, health care, and welfare. Dr. Bartle is on sabbatical for the Fall 2009 semester, and will return to teaching in Spring 2010.
