Former graduate student, Jami Zamyad, as a current dietetic intern at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, is looking for volunteers for the Annual Special Olympics event on June 13th to 14th in Long beach. Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet Hope Wills, the director of the internship program at CHLA, and help at the tent/booth during these two days. Help is needed with providing nutritional assessment, simple lessons and other nutrition related activities for participants before, during and after the competitions. Jami can sign-up 20 volunteers.
