2003 GLATSA Conference
From Wright Brothers to the Right Stuff

The Greater Los Angeles Teachers' Science Association (GLATSA) annual conference is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2003 from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. , at the Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School, 1200 N. Cornwell St., Los Angeles.
 
From the Wright Brothers to the Right Stuff is the conference theme for over 70 different workshop offerings, and some 80 vendors showcasing instructional materials.  Scheduled guest speakers include Dr. Stuart Sumida, biologist/paleontologist, author, teacher, and consultant to film studios, and Al Guenther, National Science Teacher Award winner who will present "Wild and Wacky Science" demonstrations.
 
The conference cost is $40.00.  A continental breakfast and lunch is provided.
