The purpose of this assignment is (1) To prepare you for the PACT video event, and (2) to share your best teaching ideas with your peers.
Requirements for Presenters
- Select the portion of your teaching event that you plan to video for PACT. Make certain that it meets the PACT video requirements.
- Share notes, photos, websites and other resources relevant to the activity on the class wiki. Your colleagues should be able to replicate this portion of the teaching event by referring to your notes.
- Video your presentation and post it in your own Taskstream account.
Requirements for Audience
- Select one presentation on each day and provide useful comments on the class wiki such as:
- Ideas for improving the presentation.
- Applications to everyday life. Describe how the activity could be used to explain other concepts or phenomena.
- Links to movies or websites that provide additional related information.
- Photos you took of the presentation, including annotations. Load photos into the class Picasaweb site and link to these from the wiki.
