About the Geology Club
The Geology Club serves several important purposes and are responsible for:
- Encouraging non-geology students to develop an interest in geology and earth sciences
- Guest lectures in special geology-related topics and club meetings - with free drinks and snacks for everyone!
- Field Frolics
- And much more!
All Geology and Earth Science majors are automatically accepted as the members of the Geology Club. All students who are non-members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to participate in most club activities including those listed above. However, you have to be a member of the Geology Club to hold office in the club or participate in the election of the new club officers.
If you are interested and would like to find out more about the Geology Club, please contact the club president or the Department of Geological Sciences at (818) 677-3541.
