The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (RGS) is in the Division of Academic Affairs and reports to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The mission of RGS is to offer graduate students and faculty the opportunity to engage in outstanding graduate training, academic scholarship, and research. With over $33 million in grants and contracts, we are committed to the principle that research, scholarship, and creative activity are essential to quality instruction. Our faculty members' discoveries bring fresh insight to our students and enrich the university, community, and nation. Our research activity reflects the commitment of the campus to its 58 master’s programs and two doctoral programs.
