Dr. Eli Bartle is an Associate Professor in the CSUN Department of Social Work.
He was hired at CSUN in 1998 in the Department of Sociology. He has been part of the LGBT communities since 1984, sometimes more active than others. His research interests include welfare, work, hate crimes, health care, and community organizing. Prior to CSUN, he was employed as a professor for one year at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana campus. He earned his advanced degrees in social work from the University of Nebraska and the University of Kansas. He has social work practice experience working with youth and for child protective service departments in Nebraska and Arizona.
