Chinese University Delegates, CSUN President to Engage in Cultural Exchange

What:

Shanghai Jiao Tong University president, Ye Quyan, along with four other delegates from the Chinese university, will meet with Cal State Northridge president Jolene Koester and tour the university as part of a five-day cultural exchange.

Representatives from Northridge and Shanghai Jiao Tong also will host academic symposiums discussing and exploring the history of World War II refugees who resided in Shanghai, known as "Old Chinese Hands," among other topics.

Later in the day, Cal State Northridge's Oviatt Library will introduce its Old China Hands Archive Exhibition featuring memorabilia and papers of the Old Chinese Hands.
