Wells Fargo to Present CSUN Athletics with $50,000 Check
During Grand Opening of Its First On-Campus Branch in California
What:
Wells Fargo will celebrate the grand opening of its first "university-based" banking store in California at Cal State Northridge with the presentation of a $50,000 check to the university's Athletics Program. This gift brings the bank's support for Northridge athletics to $200,000over the past four years.
The gift also will be celebrated at Wells Fargo Sellout Saturday on Feb. 5, when the Matador men's basketball team hosts UC Irvine at the Northridge gym.
Wells Fargo has a long history of supporting Cal State Northridge. Only two years ago, the bank pledged $1 million to CSUN's Center for Small Business and Entrepreneurship to develop aspiring business leaders and to fund scholarships for future teachers.
The new Wells Fargo branch at CSUN offers students, faculty and staff conveniently located ATMs, computer terminals and bankers on campus.
