CSUN to Welcome New Students with Open House
What:
More than 5,000 future Cal State Northridge students and their families will tour the campus and meet with faculty, staff and other CSUN students as part of an Open House designed to help them prepare for what's ahead when school starts in the fall.
The future students will learn about what university services, including financial aid, are available to help them while at school as well as what will be expected of them when they are in the classroom. Parents will get a chance to learn how they can help their children succeed while at CSUN.
Workshops also will be available for transfer students.
The event is being put on by the university's Office of Student Outreach and Recruitment.
