CSUN to Share Findings of Draft EIR on Campus Master Plan Update
(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Nov. 8, 2005)--Members of the community are invited to join Cal State Northridge administrators as they share the findings of a draft environmental impact report on the campus' future.
The draft environmental impact report (EIR) findings are on Cal State Northridge's 2005 Campus Master Plan Update, also known as "Envision 2035," a university initiative to shape the campus master plan for the future.
The informational meeting is scheduled to take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Presentation Room of the Oviatt Library in the center of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge. The meeting will include a presentation by CSUN's environmental consultant, followed by a public comments and questions session. Copies of the draft EIR will be available for review at the meeting.
The draft EIR on CSUN's 2005 Campus Master Plan Update will be available for public review at the following locations beginning in mid-November: the Oviatt Library; CSUN Facilities Planning Office in University Hall, Suite 325; and the L.A. City Public Library at 9051 Darby Ave. in Northridge. The document also will be posted on the Web at www.csun.edu.
Public comments on the draft EIR can be submitted during a 45-day period beginning in mid-November by mail to the CSUN Facilities Planning Office, Attention: Colin Donahue, 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge, CA 91330-8219, or by fax to that office at (818) 677-6552.
