The Pride Center supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and questioning students, faculty and staff through programming and educational outreach to improve the campus climate for LGBTQ individuals as well as advocate for the respect and safety of all members of the campus community.

Come Out and Celebrate

Students are invited to enjoy “I’m Comin’ Out,” a variety show in celebration of National Coming Out Day. The show will feature improvisational comedy, performances by CSUN Hip-Hop and a forum theatre component.  Read more

Students Turn to Students for LGBTQ Support

The Pride Center offers a Peer Mentor Program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) members of the CSUN community. Mentors are students who have received more than 20 hours of training in communication/mentoring skills, coming out, internalized homophobia, bisexuality/pansexuality, transgender awareness, suicide and risk assessment, and intersections of race, gender and sexuality. Students Unite Through Coffee-shop Connections

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) Resource Center’s peer mentors will host Coffee Nights, a social that will allow students to form connections and converse with others who share similar identities over coffee and snacks. Read more
