CSUN’s LGBTQ Community and Allies Invited to Create New Friendships at the Pride Center’s “Mix N’ Mingle”

January 18, 2017

Northridge- The Pride Center at the University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students to make new connections within the campus LGBTQ community at its welcoming  “Mix N’ Mingle” event. On Thursday, Feb. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Northridge Center at the USU, this special evening with free food and beverages will give students a chance to come back to school and create brand new friendships among like-minded individuals.

“With such a big campus it is sometimes difficult for CSUN students to create bonds with individuals they can relate to,” said Sarina Loeb, Pride Center Coordinator. “ ‘Mix N’ Mingle’ not only lets students network and have a great time with each other, but also gives them an opportunity to learn about all the things offered by the Pride Center.”

Students will have a great time making conversation with new people while enjoying free food, fun games and team building activities in a safe and open environment.  Whether you’re a part of the LGBTQ community or an ally, all are welcome to attend and make lasting connections with other Matadors.

For more information about “Mix N’ Mingle” and the Pride Center, please contact Sarina Loeb at or visit the Pride Center website at www.csun.edu/pride.
