End of Year Message

Dear faculty and staff:
 
As we wind down the 2012-13 academic year, I would like to express to you my deep thanks for your support and hard work in my first full academic year as CSUN's president. It has been a busy and fulfilling year and I am grateful for the warm welcome and support you have given to me and to my husband, John Wujack, as we have worked to advance this institution.
 
I have greatly enjoyed meeting and getting to know so many of you this past year. My interactions with the dedicated people whose efforts and commitment serve to make CSUN shine have given me great confidence in our potential to reach greater heights.
 
I hope each of you has a productive and rejuvenating summer and an opportunity to spend fun, quality time with family and friends.
 
You may wish to note on your calendars that the second annual President's Convocation is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, at 9 a.m. in the Valley Performing Arts Center at California State University, Northridge. As you know, the convocation address traditionally kicks off the academic year and I look forward to seeing you then to celebrate the start of 2013-14.
