Sirun Korkis

SirunBio:

Sirun Korkis has AA degree in Business Administration from Glendale Community College. She will earn Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from California State University Northridge in Spring 2010. Then, she is planning to obtain her MBA Degree from University of Southern California. She is currently a member of Golden Key International Honor Society.
Sirun has 5 year experience in store operations and customer service. She is currently an intern at St. Jude Medical CRMD. She works at the Human Resources Department as a Training/Recruiting/Compensation Intern. She has confidence and positive attitude to deal with variety of challenges. As the President of MACsun, her main goals are to coordinate the activities of the executive board, to promote membership of MACsun among CSUN business major students, to help the students build strong networking skills and gain leadership experience. Her hobbies are dancing, swimming, reading, shopping, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, etc.

Vice President

Attieh Rabei

AttiehBio:

Attieh Rabei will be graduating in the spring of 2010 with a degree in Journalism, Public Relations and a minor in Business Management.   As the vice president, her goal is to recruit more members, encourage students to network, and lend a hand any way she can.  She also hopes her enthusiasm and determination will help MACsun become an even better organization.  Attieh is looking forward to be the new VP and is excited to work with everyone involved.  After graduating, she plans to manage in retail as well as to own her own business one day.  In addition, Attieh would like to work with a non-profit organization as a way of giving back to the community.  Some of her favorite things include: meeting new people, the color hot pink, chocolate cake and music.

Vice President of Marketing

Erica Parra

Erica Parra will be graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a minor in Quality management and Assurance in Spring 2010. She plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Marketing or Hospital Management after receiving her bachelors. Erica currently works for LA's Best After School Program with young children at an elementary. At CSUN she is in involved with MACsun and American Marketing Association. As Vice President of Marketing for MACsun, Erica plans to promote awareness of MACsun to all business related majors at Cal State University, Northridge, inform students about the exciting opportunities this association has to offer, and how it can further benefit their future. She is enthusiastic about being apart of this year's board and is looking forward to the new experiences MACsun will bring her. Erica interests are traveling, music, spending time with family and friends, studying different cultures, and exercising.

Christopher De La Cruz

ChrisBio:

Chris De La Cruz will be graduating from California State University Northridge in the Spring of 2010 with a BS in Business Management. Fall 09 is Chris’ second semester with MACsun and first semester as a board member. His goal is to promote networking skills and develop leadership experience. He is currently employed as a clerk at a grocery store at Highland Park, CA. Hobbies include reading graphic novels, watching movies, play tennis (still learning), and learning new things.

Karine Avagyan

Bio:

Karine Avagyan will be graduating in Fall 2009 with BS in Finance and Real Estate. She plans to get MBA or MS in Finance. She has 2 years of experience in retail as assistant of manager, and 2 years of experience as student peer advisor. Karine is multitasking and likes the team work. This is her first time as a VP and she hopes to fulfill board's expectations. Her main goal at MACsun is to raise the awareness of the assosiation among CSUN students. She wants to work in the investment industry and comercial real estate field.

Dmitry Olshansky

Bio:

Dmitry Olshansky will be graduating CSUN in Fall 2009 with a BS in Business Management. Once he graduates, Dmitry is planning on starting a career with a respectful company, and eventually getting into graduate school in two or so years. As a VP of Events and Fundraising Dmitry is looking forward to engaging the members of MACsun with a range of entertaining and educational activities that will help us develop lifelong relationships and will strengthen MACsun’s image as a professional management association dedicated to helping students grow and develop their careers. Dmitry is currently employed as an operations manager at LA City Tours, a local sightseeing company. He is a big fan of skiing, sci-fi literature, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Jonathan Hernandez

Bio:

Jonathan Hernandez will be graduating in December 2009 with a BS in Business Management. As Co VP of Events and Fundraising his goals include organizing new and innovative events and fundraising ideas for the association. This semester Jonathan looks forward to working closely with his peers and other associations on campus to promote MACsun within the community. Jonathan would like to take the knowledge obtained at CSUN and MACsun to become an entrepreneur. His greatest interests include playing soccer, going to the beach, and traveling.

Jessica Abarca

jessBio:

Jessica Abarca will be graduating in Spring 2010 with a BS in Business Management. Her goals for MACsun are to provide COBAE students with endless opportunities and experiences to the real business world, which will open doors to their future. Along with a full time school schedule, Jessica works at the Associated Students, Inc. as a senator for COBAE and interns at Staffmark, a staffing company in Glendale. Jessica would like to take what she learned and experienced at school and in MACsun to become director at a large corporation where she can acquire the experience to eventually become an entrepreneur. Her main goals with MACsun are to and increase the branding within the business department, and provide students with networking expertise. Her hobbies include, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and dancing.
