Email manuscripts to prociau273@csun.edu.

The following page limits apply:

        Invited talk = 6 pages
        Oral presentation = 4 pages
        Poster presentation = 4 pages

See below for more links to IAU rules and guidelines, including acceptable formats. Please read them carefully as they provide valuable information.

All registrants will receive a copy of the IAU Symposium Proceedings.

All registrants presenting at an IAU Symposium have their work included in the Proceedings, whether they present an Invited Paper (invited talk), a Contributed Paper, or a Poster Paper.

The IAU has rules and guidelines for
manuscript submission based on its publishing contract with Cambridge University Press (CPU). One of those rules says the Proceedings will be published within six months of the end of the Symposium. CUP needs three months for its own processing, leaving three months for the Editors to do their work. This means that all authors must deliver their completed manuscripts to the Chief Editor before or during the Symposium. Authors wishing to make revisions may submit a revised version within four weeks after the Symposium. See here for rules, Section B: IAU/CUP Policy.

Rules, Guidelines and Instructions for Proceedings
www.iau.org/science/publications/proceedings_rules/ provides additional links to important instructions to authors for submitting their manuscripts. Please make sure you read and follow the IAU guidelines when preparing your manuscripts.

Additionally, an author must download, sign, and submit a “Consent to publish and transfer of copyright” form with the manuscript.
