The dates for the various departmental assessment tests are:

- Junior Assessment Test (on introductory physics equivalent to PHYS 225, 226 and 227) to be taken by all students who are beginning to take the junior level classes: Friday of first week of class in the Fall semester at 2:00 p.m. in LO 1100.

- Senior Assessment Test (on the core junior and senior level physics courses equivalent to PHYS 301, 311, 375 and 431) to be taken by all students who are graduating in the Spring, Summer or Fall semester of that year: Friday of the exam week in the Spring semester at 2:00 p.m. in LO 1100.

- Assessment test for introductory courses (PHYS 100A, 100B, 220A, 220B and ASTR 152) to be taken by all students taking these classes: Pre-test sometime during the first week of class. Post-test sometime during the last week of class.
