Student Health Center & National Center on Deafness

On the left is the Student Health Center (SHC), staffed by licensed medical physicians, which offers medical and counseling services free of charge. Appointments are suggested; however, walk-in visits are available. Directly across from the health center is Jeanne Chisholm Hall, which houses the National Center on Deafness (NCOD). The internationally recognized NCOD provides interpreters, real-time captioning, TypeWell captioning, notetaking, tutoring, and academic advisement for CSUN's deaf and hard-of-hearing population, one of the largest such populations at any university in the country.

Return to East University Drive and walk north alongside the Botanical Garden.
