Oviatt Library

The library is named for the first dean of instruction, Delmar T. Oviatt, a crucial figure in the campus's early development. The Oviatt Library contains over one millioin reference books, periodicals/subscriptions, microfiche and microfilm,video and film, sound recordings,computer software, and other reference materials. Computers with Internet access facilitate research efforts and projects. The Oviatt Library is the largest library in the San Fernando Valley, and the third largest library in the California State University system. It is heavily used by students, faculty and community members.
