What is the schedule for Preview CSUN?
The Preview CSUN schedule has 4 major components:
- INFORMATION EXPO
- WORKSHOPS
- CAMPUS TOURS
- STUDENT HOUSING TOURS
Below is an overview of the day. Schedule is subject to change.
PARKING:
G4 Parking Lot-must get parking permit from Parking Booth
MORNING CHECK-IN AND WELCOME:
- 8:30am Check-in at Oviatt Library
- 9:00am Welcome at Oviatt Library
9:30am-11:30am
INFORMATION EXPO: University Student Union (USU)
- Meet department representatives and students in an open, fair-like environment
- Get all your questions answered about your major, student clubs, resources available, etc.
10:00am-1:00pm
WORKSHOPS: USU (Repeated throughout the day)
- How to Apply to CSUN (application review for H.S. seniors)
- Application Help (Computer Lab access-only for those who have already started their application on www.csumentor.com)
- Why CSUN is the Right Choice (CSUN highlights)
- Student Housing (campus living options)
- Financial Aid (learn about financial help)
- International Students (specific application help)
- Transfer Students (specific application help)
- Spanish Track: How to Apply to CSUN, Why CSUN is the Right Choice, and Financial Aid
9:30am-2:00pm
CAMPUS TOURS:
- University Ambassadors provide walking tours of campus
- Approximately 40 minutes
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Spanish tours available
9:30am-2:00pm
STUDENT HOUSING TOURS:
- Transportation via trams will be provided for guests
