Do you have a career center?

The Career Center is your one-stop shop for everything related to internships, jobs and careers. It's located on the west side of campus in University Hall 105. All services are free of charge to Northridge students.

If you want to find an internship or part-time job on or off campus while you pursue your degree, you can search the Career Center's job database. The database is available both online and in binders at the Career Center. The database also includes internships and full-time, professional positions for those who have already earned a degree.

Do you want to polish your interview skills or create a job-winning resume? The Career Center is the place to do it. What if you don't have any idea what you want to do after college, or aren't sure what type of career is open to someone with your major? The Career Center can help. You can even sign up to receive emails about job opportunities related to your major, or upload your resume so employers can contact you about job openings.

The Career Center sponsors dozens of job fairs and expos each year. Many are for students in certain colleges or departments; others are open to anyone. Employers sponsor booths at these fairs and expos as a way to recruit students. Some employers schedule their own information sessions or on-campus interviews.

While the Career Center handles most career-oriented services at Cal State Northridge, a few individual departments, such as Accounting and Information Systems, have their own smaller career centers.
