CAMPUS TOURS

Take a Campus Tour

California State University, Northridge offers guided walking tours of campus. On a campus tour, you'll visit our major points of interest and learn about life as a Cal State Northridge student. Tours take approximately one hour and are led by University Ambassadors.

To join us on a tour, please make a reservation by calling Student Outreach and Recruitment Services at (818) 677-2879 during regular business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.  We ask that you make your reservation at least three weeks in advance of your requested tour date. Once we have your reservation, we will send you an email confirmation that includes information about complimentary parking. All reservations that made on or 72 hours prior to the tour date, will not receive complimentary parking.


Spring 2012 Tour Schedule:

  • Dates: Feb. 6 - April 28
  • Days of the week tours will be offered: Monday-Saturday.
  • Tour times available:


    • Mondays-1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
    • Tuesdays-10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
    • Wednesdays-10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
    • Thursdays-10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
    • Fridays-10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m.
    • Saturdays-11:30 a.m.

Please note: Only the following Saturdays will be available for campus tours:

  • Feb. 18, 25
  • March 3, 10
  • April 21, 28

We will not be offering campus tours on the following days:

  • March 1, 2, 30
  • April 2-7

Group Tours

We offer group tours for parties of 10 people or more. We ask that you make your reservation at least three weeks in advance of your requested tour date. Please inquire about our group tours for K-12 and transfer students. These tours familiarize students with Cal State Northridge admission requirements, the admissions process and various aspects of the CSUN experience.

Self-guided Tours

If you are unable to join us on a scheduled tour, you can take a self-guided tour. Stop by SOARS in Bayramian Hall 190 during regular business hours to pick up a self-guided tour brochure and campus map.

If you are unable to join us on campus, we encourage you to look through The Self-Guided Tour Book for specific information about the buildings, offerings and highlights of the campus.
