Take a Campus Tour

California State University, Northridge offers guided walking tours of campus. On a campus tour, you'll visit our major points of interest and learn about life as a Cal State Northridge student. Tours take approximately one hour and are led by University Ambassadors.

To join us on a tour, please make a reservation by calling Student Outreach and Recruitment Services at 818-677-2879 during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Once we have your reservation, we will send you an e-mail confirmation that includes information about complimentary parking.

June 1-July 31, 2009, tour schedule

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 10 a.m.
  • Fridays: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Fall Tours will be from September 8th –November 21st 2009

  • Monday – 10am and 2pm
  • Tuesday – 10am and 4pm
  • Wednesday – 10am and 2pm
  • Thursday – 10am and 12pm
  • Friday – Tours are on the hour starting at 10am and last tour goes out at 2pm
  • Saturday tours will be given on the following dates:
    • September 12, 19,26
    • October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
    • November 14, 21

Please be advised that tours do not stop by on-campus housing units. To view on-campus housing, please call Student Housing at 818-677-2160 or visit csun housing.

Group Tours

We offer group tours for parties of 10 people or more. We ask that you make your reservation at least three weeks in advance of your requested tour date. Please inquire about our group tours for K-12 and transfer students. These tours familiarize students with Cal State Northridge admission requirements, the admission process and various aspects of the CSUN experience.

Self-guided and Virtual Tours

If you are unable to join us on a scheduled tour, you can take a self-guided tour. Stop by Student Outreach and Recruitment Services in Bayramian Hall 190 during regular business hours to pick up a self-guided tour brochure and campus map.
