Accountancy
Students declaring Accountancy will be placed in Pre-Accountancy. Qualifying for Accountancy is determined by the Accounting Department and normally requires 3.00 or higher grade point averages. Other qualifications may be reviewed on their website, http://www.csun.edu/acctis/
Finance or Insurance and Financial Services
Students declaring Finance or Insurance and Financial Services will be placed in Pre-Finance or Pre-Insurance and Financial Services with less than 60 units and/or less than a 2.50 total grade point average. Prior to completion of 90 units, students who achieve both 60 units and a total grade point average of 2.50 or higher may file a request for Change of Major in Student Services Center and EOP Satellite JH 2113.
