Fall Advisement
Effective through November 22, 2009
EOP students, please make sure you schedule an appointment to see your advisor and clear your Fall 2009 registration hold if you have not done so already.
Continuing students Freshman through Senior with quick questions may stop by for Drop-In advisement. Individual appointments will resume in Fall 2009.
- Students are required to bring to your appointment or Drop-In session:
- A current Degree Progress Report (DPR)
- Your Course Planner (.doc)
Drop-In Advisement Hours
Please note: Drop-In advisement does not clear registration advisetment holds.
Currently we are not offering drop-in advisement. To speak with an advisor you will have to make an appointment by calling (818) 677-3537 or stopping by our office in JH 2113.- Our State Budget closure schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, December 24 and 31, 2009
- Monday, January 4 and 11, 2010
- Tuesday - Friday April 6- 9, 2010
- Friday May 21and 28, 2010
- Tuesday, June 1, 2010
- Friday, June 18, 2010
Our office will also be closed for Holidays on:
- September 7 (Labor Day)
- November 11 (Veterans' Day)
- December 25 - January 4 (Campus Closed)
- January 18 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
Also we will not be offering Evening Office Hours on these days:

Faculty Mentors
Juniors & Seniors who have successfully completed BUS 302 & Bus 302L and Economics majors who have successfully completed the lower division major may seek advice from a Faculty Mentor in your major or option. Please click the Faculty Mentor link for more information.
Advisement & University Deadlines
- Approved graduation applications submitted to Admissions and Records for the Fall 2009, Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 Semester require a $10 late fee.
- Students who are applying for the Fall 2010 semester may submit the gradudation application from Friday December 4, 2009 to Friday March 5 2010. For more information about graduation, visit the Graduation Process link.
Group Workshops for Disqualified Students
- Previously Disqualified Students - Call 818-677-3537 to schedule a group advisement workshop. These sessions are offered at least four times per year, including November, January, June, and August. Please see our Probation/Disqualification link.
