I learned a lot from this program, I'm just hoping I will use everything I learned fro the future. And not take everything out on myself, and learn to talk it out and share my problems.

I experienced a day that was important; it broadened my mind about a lot of situations, it made me think and realize that things that I say could hurt people. This makes me think about the choices that I may make in the future, I'll do my best to see that the choices I make have good consequences, this day will definitely help to make me a better person.

Orientation was great, it was such a fresh experience. College seems like it will be awesome, High School is now long gone, and this day changed my view about the world and the diverse culture within it. There are a plethora of things to do here at CSUN and Orientation showed me that. I learned that becoming involved on campus can be a life changing experience that may change my views on life. Orientation showed me I should just be who I want to be, take care of myself and love myself.

I'm real glad that I made it here after all that I have been through. Sometimes I thought I would never make it, but I did. My Orientation Leaders really inspired me. I found out one of them is studying Criminology, like me, to become a parole officer. It felt good to see everyone and every race get along, it made me feel even more comfortable. It was nice to meet different people from different parts of the world.

I thought the Orientation was going to be lame but with TAKE XX and the Orientation Leaders it really made it a great, positive and personal experience. I think it helped me to learn to stop doubting myself and to learn to just accept things and make a leap of faith here and there.

Today I've discovered so many new and enlightening experiences through today. Orientation was amazing, much better than ever expected. I met so many new people, seen faces I will never forget. The most touching stories from my leader Brandi, Solomon, and Chris. I hope that in the future I will value and take in what I've learned.

Coming to CSUN early in the morning, half awake, I was expecting to have a very long and boring day. After four long hours in the thall I finally started to come to the realization that I was in the middle of the biggest transition in my life. After the TAKE XX performance I began to feel that I was ready to take on what this chapter of my life was about to bring me. World Here I Come!!!

Today at Orientation I met some friends, I learned about CSUN and about life as a Matador. It was great, we all got here and didn't even want to talk to each-other, but we left with a few phone numbers and didn't want to leave. It was great!

Coming to CSUN early in the morning was annoying, but I think it turned out to be worth it. Some of the things I saw and learned at Orientation are things I hope I will never forget. I hope I remember what I CSUN for, and never forget who I am.

New Student Orientation. I never thought it would be this informative, exciting, and overall, "new." This was one of the experiences I thought was the greatest, not only was it emotional but thoughtful, tiring (but worth it), moving and powerful. Today I can share the story and memories many CSUN Freshman can relate to. This is one memory I'll treasure for the years to come.

I never expected an orientation to be this long, a total of ten hours. Luckily, I learned lots of stuff about my new school CSUN, mostly how to do well in class and I got to meet a lot of new people, I hope to keep in contact with. Although it was long, the last three hours was the best; TAKE XX really did bring a new world into my heart. Never knowing so many of the students here are having such different problems, and how the overcame them. It shows me the other side, or the true side of the campus.

Today was actually an awesome day. At first in the morning I wasn't really into it but throughout the very LONG day it just kept getting better. I got to meet new friends and that made it even more fun. The best part of the day was the performance of TAKE XX. It really taught me some life lessons that I can and will learn from. I can't wait to go to CSUN!

Today I learned many things that I will need in the upcoming 4 years. I learned what to expect and how to go about my college career. Most things were academic or about planning, but I did learn new things about social life. I learned to get to know someone before I judge them based on their looks. Ultimately, what I learned today will help me become a better person.

Today, August 13 of 2008 at New Student Orientation, I learned that college could be difficult, but I also learned how to make it easier on myself, and how to manage my time wisely. I also learned that getting involved in a club or organization will help me to meet many new people. TAKE XX really impacted me because of how real life it is, and how it can affect so many people in so many different ways.

I came to orientation thinking it was going to be really boring. I wasn't wrong it was boring At First, but then I met some new friends and I will hopefully stay in contact with them, they are great people. I was pretty tired because I had just gotten back from being out of the country the previous day, then the performance TAKE woke me up. It was so great I learned a lot. I am looking forward to CSUN and the rest of the year.
