How to get involved

Dear Interested Student:

We are excited that you are interested in becoming part of our New Student Orientation Program. We have begun accepting applications for the 2007-2008 cast of TAKE XX. These applications wille be due Friday, November 9, 2007 at 5:00pm. Feel free to come by the Office of Student Development to pick up an application or Download a copy of the TAKE application (see below).

Applications for Orientation Leaders are also available at the Office of Student Development, and will also be due November 3, 2008 at 5:00pm. Please note that should you become a TAKE XX Cast Member you will also assume the role and responsibilities of a New Student Orientation Leader.

TAKE MEMBER

  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Attendance at a TAKE weekend training retreat in February and a weekend Orientation training retreats in June.
  • Weekly rehearsals/Training: Every Friday's from 2:00-5:00 pm
  • Availability for all performances during New Student Orientation and after Orientation
  • Two letters of recommendation required:
    - One by a faculty member
    - One by someone that you have known for over two years (not a family member).

Interviews will be held: November 17-21, 2008

We strongly encourage you to get to know and interact with your professors. Both positions require at least one Faculty Letter of Recommendation to accompany your application. Enclosed is an application for TAKE. Please fill it out and send it back to us or drop it off at the Office of Student Development & International Programs.
