Through an interactive discussion format, this component will remind students of resources available to them that reference new and current immigration regulations, policies, and procedures as they pertain to legal F1 student status. Additionally this component will highlight International student success stories concerning a traditional CSUN university classroom experiences. Various topics are addressed including: Differences between high school, community college, and US universities; appropriate classroom conduct; faculty expectations; ethical issues, cheating, and plagiarism (including using the Web and internet resources for cheating); campus community standards; and, myths of living and interacting with American students.

|SHC Staff & Wells Fargo Staff
Reviewing topics concerning Health, the Klotz Student Health Center and Wells Fargo Insurance Services will provide information about services provided as well as their importance.
|12:00 pm||Lunch & Campus Resource & Service Fair|
|Box lunches will be served. Students will be encouraged to enjoy lunch with fellow classmates and interact with a wide variety of campus representatives, service departments, and others who help to enhance the Academic, Cultural, and Social student experience.|

|Presented by College Representatives
Presented by staff members from each college advising center, students will become familiar with the CSUN college structure (contacts, resources and who to know). Additionally, information will be provided regarding the University Catalog, Schedule of Classes, www.csun.edu/portal, "DPR", Upper Division Writing Proficiency Exam and other general information. Forms and deadlines on taking control of one's own education will also be highlighted. *Undergraduate students will be broken up into college specific sessions; Graduate Students will receive a non-college specific presentation.
