Monica Salazar is a Chicana poet and founder of Typaway Poetry, which offers custom typewriter poems to clients at events, workshops, pop-ups, parties, and weddings all throughout Los Angeles. While earning a degree in Communications Studies from California State University, Northridge, she took various writing courses in journalism and poetry. Matchbox 20 With Special Guest Andy Grammer Set To Perform At Prudential Center

Special guest Andy Grammer, an American singer and songwriter, will join the tour in support. Grammer will perform his hit singles "Keep Your Head Up" and "Fine by Me and many other hit songs. Grammer learned to play the trumpet, the guitar, and the piano as a child and was writing songs at age 15. He graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a B.A. in Music Industry Studies. Grammer married recording artist Aijia Lise Guttman, known professionally as Aijia. -- Broadway World New Jersey

CSUN Track & Field Athletes Shine in Multiple Meets This Week

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—CSUN Track & Field embarks on a busy week of action as the Matadors will split their roster and send student-athletes to four different meets over a three-day span starting Thursday. CSUN will take part in two of Long Beach State’s meets this week, starting with the Pacific Coast Invitational on Thursday while the Matadors will send a large group to compete at the Beach Invitational from Friday to Saturday. -- BVM Sports
