HR certification demonstrates dedication to our department and validates our commitment to our field and to the organization we serve.

The Professional in Human Resources
(PHR) certification demonstrates mastery of
the technical and operational aspects of HR
practices and U.S. laws and regulations. Four
staff members possess the PHR designation.

The Senior Professional in Human
Resources (SPHR) certification is recognized
as a professionally relevant credential for
those who have mastered the strategic and
policy-making aspects of HR management in
the United States. Two staff members possess
the SPHR designation.

     

     

INTERNAL TRAINING

26 Strategic Human Resources Management internal training sessions were provided by the HR Managers to our team. Modules covered;

• Strategic Business Management,
• Employee and Labor Relations,
• Human Resource Development,
• Workforce Planning and Employment,
• Total Rewards, and Risk Management.

JOB SHADOW PROGRAM The Human Resources Job Shadow Program (JSP)  was designed as an exceptional volunteer-based  program that supports HR Staff in learning about  each other’s roles and responsibilities. The program’s  success is centered on supporting employees in three (3) key areas:      • Cross Functional Job Exposure      • Leadership Development      • Developing Job Expertise
TEAM BUILDING RECOGNITION AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT HR believes in creating a positive work environment  by bringing the team together through monthly staff  meetings and annual staff retreats to build a stronger  team to better serve our campus community.
PHILANTHROPY Our HR family believes in helping our community in need.  Annually we coordinate a "Holiday Donations Campaign"  where food and gift boxes are available for out team to make  contributions.  This year we helped a family with a very simple  wish "to be with family and have food and shelter.  They were  grateful and humbled by our donations, and we enjoyed  delivering some holiday cheer!
