We participated in the Spring Job Fair held in March, 2014 and partnered with the campus Career Center to reach out to our graduating students. We had many students visit our booth and provided them with information related to job opportunities available at CSUN

BENEFITS AND WELLNESS FAIR

We hosted the Fall 2013 benefits and wellness fair on September 11, 2013. This was our largest and most well attended event yet, with over 200 faculty and staff members in attendance. The benefits and wellness fair was an interactive event that enabled employees to meet with over 20 vendors and health care providers, to obtain information, receive giveaways, and participate in various health screenings.

STAFF SERVICE AND EXCELLENCE AWARD

The 48th Annual Staff Service and Recognition of Excellence Awards were held on June 3, 2014 honoring approximately 250 employees with more than 3,800 years of combined service, as well as acknowledgement of employees receiving recognition of excellence awards. A highlight of this year’s awards celebration was the recognition of employees who have served CSUN for 40 and 45 years. Framed Matador jerseys with their names and the number “40” were presented to recipients Ms. Charleen Bell, Financial Aid Accountant, and Dr. William Watkins, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students and the number “45” to recipient Mr. Jeffrey Craig, Network Analyst for Physical Plant Management.
