Tearing Hatred from the Sky with Bree Newsome
Bree Newsome is a community organizer and activist who removed the Confederate battle flag from the South Carolina statehouse. She will speak at CSUN twice on Thursday, September 14, 2017. "Tearing Hatred from the Sky" is a free, ticketed event. She will also be the keynote speaker at Freshman Convocation (6 p.m. on the Oviatt Lawn).
Doors open at 2:30 p.m..
Presentation 3-4 p.m. in the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall, University Student Union, CSUN.
Admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets available to CSUN students, faculty, and staff at the Associated Students Ticket Office in the University Student Union. One ticket per CSUN ID.
